Markandeyan, Tamil movie is an action-thriller directed and produced by stunt master FESFI S Vijayan and sees the debut of his son Sabarish. The film is also getting released in dubbed Telugu version as Mark.
The film sees the debut of heroine Pinky who is from Bangkok. The film also sees Niveditha playing the lead role, as the romantic interest of Sabarish in the movie. The film's music launch was a grand affair where Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Ilayathalapthy Vijay shared the stage alongside the sizzling Shriya Saran.
Markandeyan Review – Story/ Plot
So here we give an one line of the story. Sabarish who plays the role of Markandeyan a.k.a Mark, who is wounded badly and has lost his memory and is found in a village. He recovers and goes to the city in search of his identity. At that time, he is picked up few gangsters and they try to kill him. But Mark somehow escapes. Now he is to find who he really is and why the gang tried to kill him. At that point he remembers about Divya his love. Now he is in a quest to find out what had happened to Divya and how he has lost his memory and who he really is.
Seems like a mix of Kamal Hassan's Vetri Vizha, Jackie Chan's Who Am I and Matt Damon's The Bourne Identity.
Santhanam is said to be at his comedy best in this movie. Also the action sequences are said to be the main highlight.
The movie also sees veteran actor Srihari, M.S Bhaskar, Santhanam, Nizalkal Ravi as supporting cast. The music has been composed by Sundar C Babu to the lyrics penned by Yugabharathi and Kavivarman.
Behind the scene Trivia
The film which has been predominantly shot in forest area has been shot in remote bamboo forests and other forests in Thalakonam, Orissa, Hyderabad and showcases the life of people who live in the in the bamboo jungles .
The crew is said to have visited and stayed in untouched forest areas in Orissa for around 20 days to complete major part of the Shoot.
The stunt sequences which has been choreographed by Stunt Choreographer( producer-Director) Fefsi Vijayan himself is said to be the major highlight.

A review should say whether a movie is good, or bad, or boring..etc. It should also say whether a particular actor and or actress has done well or not. Similar treatment of the director... In short do a clear review.
