- Visakhapatnam port, located in Andhra Pradesh
- Alang, located in Bhavnagar in the state of Gujarat
- Chennai Port, located in state of Tamil Nadu
- Mumbai Port, also know gateway of India, is located in the state of Maharashtra.
- Tuticorin, also known as Pearl City is a port located in Tamil Nadu.
- Manglore port is located in the state of Karnataka.
- Kandla port is located in Kutch region of Gujarat.
- Panaji which is the capital city of goa is also one of the major ports in India.
- Paradip port is situated in the state of Orissa.
- Ennore Port is located in Chennai, in the state of Tamil Nadu.
