Depending on what you currently use as your username across the social networks or online, it can be quite disappointing to sign up for a new social network than find your name is already taken. So what’s an easy way to search across all social networks for a username that isn’t already taken, without having to sign up for each of the individually? During my search for a solution I came across namechk.com, which was extremely simple and fast to use.

Simply place your desired username in the search box, then search. The results will rapidly span across all social networking sites listed and see if your name is available.
